Workshops
We are available to run Lindy Hop workshops on your behalf whether you are a college, arts centre, or theatre. Lindy Hop is a popular dance which many are keen to try. We can suggest and plan workshops that may be suitable for your needs.
Team Building
Dance workshops are an excellent means of team building. During a workshop partners are rotated so that colleagues will interact with each other. The excercises used in teaching will build confidence and trust within the team. Dancing provides an interesting, fun backdrop to allow interaction on a more relaxed level. Dance workshops are also an excellent tool for managing workplace stresses.
Liven up your event
Lindy Hop is an exciting dance to watch and be involved in. The addition of Lindy Hop dancers in period costume to a 1940's event adds a hint of excitement. If you have a swing band playing at your dance why not ask us to teach a beginners class at the start of the function. People are much quicker to get onto the dance floor once they feel confident. If necessary we can 'taxi' dance during the evening to encourage your patrons onto the dance floor.
DJ
As 'Dr Swing' Steve has provided music at dance venues in Central London dance clubs as well as at venues run by 52nd Street Jump. He has also provided music for a number of corporate events. He can provide music to fit around your live entertainment or provide an evening of Authentic music from the 1930's, 40's and 50's. For more information click here.
